PROFILE

Sidey Design Associates is headed by Jon Sidey who has over 25 years experience in the building design and planning fields gained while working for such companies as Granada Motorways Ltd, Gotch Pearson Architects, Charles Wells Brewery Ltd, Abbey National plc and Woods Hardwick Development Consultants Ltd.

While working within both private practice and within retail/commercial environment he has gained considerable experience in a broad range of architectural fields including public houses, retail units, residential flats, surgeries, community centres, hostels, and individually designed housing. Also extension, alteration and refurbishment of restaurants, residential care homes, regional offices, and banking halls to name but a few.

He has now been running his own practice for over 12 years and has built up a portfolio of clients and associations with local design team consultants to offer a comprehensive package on complex or larger commercial projects. Sidey Design has a friendly, dedicated team of planning and technical staff all of which are CAD proficient and who will offer impartial advice on any type of development being considered.

The type of work typically undertaken includes individually designed houses, small residential developments, alterations and extensions to residential properties including loft conversions, public house refurbishment and alterations, hospitality facilities, office refurbishments, extensive work on listed and historic buildings.
